Jigawa to Construct Additional Office Block

The Jigawa State Government is to construct an additional office block to enhance service delivery.

This was contained in a Statement issued by the Spokesperson, office of the Head of the Civil Service, Ismaila Ibrahim Dutse.

Dutse said, the State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri, made this known during a tender opening for the construction of a new two-storey building at the new  State Secretariat Complex, Dutse.

The HOS emphasized the importance of providing conducive office accommodation for effective service delivery.

Alhaji Muhammad K Dagaceri urged the technical committee to thoroughly review all submitted documents to select a reliable contractor capable of delivering excellent services.

He also stressed the need for adherence to procurement regulations and fairness in the evaluation process.

Alhaji Muhammad K Dagaceri called on civil society organizations (CSOs) and relevant stakeholders to remain vigilant and ensure proper supervision of the project until its completion.

The Director General, Due Process and Projects Monitoring Bureau, Professor Kasim Muhammad,  encouraged the Head of the Civil Service to expedite the evaluation process to obtain the necessary approvals for timely contract award.

Represented by Engineer Shu’aibu Ali, the DG urged the successful contractor to execute the project within the stipulated timeframe.

On his part, Yusuf Salisu, representing the CSOs, assured that they would monitor compliance with Due Process laws throughout the project.

Responding, on behalf of the bidders, Engineer Oyebode Oyetunji, representing A.G Ferero & Co. Limited, committed to delivering a high-quality project if awarded the contract.
