ย Politics asย  difficult game of numbers that give rooms for electoral victories and successes. With the required numbers, the office contender will never see the light of the day.

However, not only the never that determine future successes, but words, and promises matched with tangible and desirable actions.

ย Jigawa state has had it in multiple colours: Fulfilled and unfulfilled promises by numerous politicians at various levels, and at various times. The records ate always there – formal and informal.

There isย  no half way between success and failure in politics, and indeed in all critical, human endeavors. It is either complete success or complete failure.

Danmodi’s political culture has proven severally and consistently of action, fairness and responsiveness. Jigawa state citizens are the witnesses, they are the direct beneficiaries of his many great legacies; and are willing to support and sustain the legacies, but for a few disgruntled elements that have become the unrepentant wailers.

The wards, local governments and state congresses as the hallmark of Danmodi’s leadership quality insulated with high grade spirituality, foresight and humane feelings.

Danmodi’s speech on Sallah day in Dutse was that of a leader committed to leaving a sound legacy. He called on the electorates in Jigawa state not to vote any elected official who failed to fulfil his mandate.

I have never heard of any politician in Nigeria speaking in this tone and with such energy and courage. Politics is for the courageous, the valiant and the robust – Mallam Umar Namadi is a typical model for that.

ย His unscheduled visits to projects sites to ascertain progress and challenges are very pertinent. Many communities have eulogised and prayed for him.

Let it be told boldly and clear –ย  that those who fulfilled their mandate will have every reason to celebrate for we shall promote and sustain their achievements – such as MALLAM Umar Namadi. Alas, those who failed their mandate will surely meet their political waterloo.

The failed and feuding charlatan’s have their stomachs alreadyย  rumbling.

Rumbles they will, and the judgements will surely be. Judgements of their personal conscience, that of posterity, and the final – that of our supreme creator.

Gradually, yet surreptitiously, nemeses catch up with even the most wary transgressors.
