Alhaji Bature Abdulaziz, a distinguished businessman and community leader from Kano, has passed away at the age of 76.
He was widely respected for his significant contributions to trade, business development, and national advocacy. Abdulaziz served as the National President of the Harmonized Traders Union of Nigeria, where he championed the interests of traders and entrepreneurs across the country. Under his leadership, the union promoted economic empowerment, business growth, and the protection of commercial interests nationwide.
Additionally, he was the National President of the Patriotic Elders Network for Peace (PENP), an organization dedicated to national security, peacebuilding, and political advocacy. Abdulaziz consistently called for unity and warned against divisive rhetoric that could threaten national stability.
His funeral is scheduled for tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. at his residence in โYan Kaba, Kano, where family, friends, and well-wishers will gather to pay their final respects.
