In its effort to ensure a seamless Hajj experience, the Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board (KPWB) has launched a special radio program aimed at educating intending pilgrims during Ramadan.

This initiative was announced by the Director General of the Board, Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Matawalle, during the closing ceremony of the Hajj Induction Course held at the School for Arabic Studies in Kano.

In a Press Statement issued by the Board’s spokesperson, Suleiman Ibrahim Dederi explained that the program intends to make Hajj education more accessible, allowing pilgrims to follow induction lectures from home via designated radio stations throughout Ramadan.

The statement further explained that the program will cover essential topics such as Hajj rites, travel procedures, health requirements, and spiritual preparation, ensuring that all registered pilgrims are well-informed and prepared for the sacred journey.

Matawalle assured the public of the Board’s commitment to facilitating a smooth pilgrimage experience, from departure in Kano to their stay in the Holy Land. He encouraged all intending pilgrims to participate actively in the radio induction program to deepen their understanding of Hajj rites during this blessed month.

He also urged pilgrims to serve as good ambassadors of the state while in the Holy Land, praying for both Kano State and the nation.
