The Gwaram Awareness Group has called on Captain Aliyu Muhammad Gadama, a retired military officer, to contest the Gwaram Federal Constituency seat in the upcoming general elections.
During a press conference held at the Nigeria Union Journalists Secretariat in Dutse, the leadership of the awareness group, in collaboration with Captain Gadama’s supporters, made this appeal.
In his speech, Hon. Kabiru Muhammad Fagam, former secretary of the APC in Gwaram Local Government Area, stated that the coalition is fully committed to ensuring Captain Aliyu Gadama’s success and the APC’s victory at all levels. He highlighted Captain Gadama’s significant contributions to the people of Gwaram and Jigawa State, including distributing food items to over two thousand individuals to facilitate their religious observances and providing Sallah gifts to more than a thousand orphans to ensure they celebrate the holiday with joy.
Honourable Kabiru expressed heartfelt gratitude to Captain Gadama for his efforts in addressing erosion issues that have affected the Sara and Gadama roads.
When asked about the timing of their campaign prior to candidate announcements, Fagam expressed confidence in their candidate’s qualifications and readiness to adhere to the governor’s directives during the primaries.
Finally, he urged the people of Gwaram Local Government Area to fully support this appeal for Captain Dr. Muhammad Aliyu Gadama to run for the Federal House of Representatives, representing Gwaram in Nigeria’s National Assembly as a dedicated patriot.
