NUJ Jigawa Mourns the Passing of its Pioneer Chairman

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Jigawa State Council, extends its heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Malam Saifullahi Muhammad, who passed away on Wednesday at his residence in Unguwa Uku, Tarauni Local Government Area of Kano State, after a prolonged illness.

Malam Saifullahi Muhammad, an indigene of Malamadori Local Government Area in Jigawa State, was the pioneer Chairman of the NUJ Jigawa State Council and also served as the former Vice Chairman of the NUJ Kano State Council.

In a statement jointly signed by the Council Chairman, Comrade Isma’il Ibrahim Dutse, and Acting Secretary, Comrade Aminu Umar Shuwajo, his death is described as a significant loss not only to his immediate family but also to the NUJ and the entire Muslim Ummah worldwide.

The Jigawa State NUJ prays that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, grants him Aljannatul Firdaus, and provides his family with the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
