The Executive Chairman of the Jigawa State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission, Barrister Salisu Abdu, has reiterated the commission’s commitment to addressing administrative injustice and corruption in Jigawa State.
He made this known while receiving the new State Commandant of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Muhd Kabir Ingawa, who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.
Barrister Abdu emphasized the importance of collaboration between the two agencies, particularly in arrest and enforcement operations. The visit marks the first of its kind from the NSCDC, highlighting the need for synergy due to their operational similarities.
The Executive Chairman, expressed optimism about working together to combat corruption and promote justice in society. He noted that some cases received by the commission fall under the NSCDC’s operational responsibilities, and effective cooperation would facilitate seamless referrals.
He commended the Commandant for the visit and assured him of the commission’s commitment to fostering a productive working relationship.
Earlier, the NSCDC new Commandant expressed readiness to deploy the Command personnel to collaborate with JSPCACC to enhance service delivery and ensure justice in the state.
