Jigawa Executive Council Approves Contract for Township Road Construction

The Jigawa State Executive Council has approved the award of contract for the construction of township roads across the State.
The approved project covers a total distance of 58.56 kilometers and includes critical routes in Dutse Phase II (20.36 km), Kafin Hausa (19 km), Gumel Bypass (12 km), Dangyatim Township Road (4.2 km), and Doko in Garki LGA (4 km).
The contract, valued at ₦57,798,380,827.20, aims to improve connectivity and accessibility in these areas, fostering economic growth and development. The council emphasized that these upgrades are vital for promoting trade and enhancing the overall quality of life for residents.
In a  Press statement, issued by the Commissioner for Health, Dr Abdullahi Muhammad Kainuwa, after the State Executive Council meeting, expressed its commitment to ensuring timely completion of the project, which is expected to provide jobs and stimulate local economies.
The statement said, award of the contract reflects the government’s ongoing dedication to infrastructural development and community welfare in the State.
