Badaru Denies Defection Rumours, Reaffirms Loyalty to APC

Former Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has dismissed reports circulating on social media alleging his consultations to defect to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), describing these claims as baseless and speculative.

In a statement, he personally signed, the former Minister categorically stated that the report is entirely false, unfounded, and a result of political mischief. He emphasized his firm commitment to the All Progressives Congress (APC), a party he helped establish, affirming that his loyalty to the party is absolute and unwavering.

He urged the general public and APC members to disregard these false and misleading reports, reiterating his dedication to the party and his intention to remain an active member of the APC.
