Governor Malam Umar A Namadi of Jigawa State is making a strategic investment in the future of the state’s children through JigawaUNITE, a flagship education transformation initiative aimed at strengthening learning outcomes and expanding access to quality education throughout the state.
As part of this initiative, learning materials have been distributed to 250 public primary schools across 20 Local Government Areas, ensuring that thousands of pupils—especially those in underserved communities—have access to essential educational resources, regardless of their location or background.
The JigawaUNITE implementation team recently delivered books directly to the pupils of Ansaruddeen Primary School in Kiyawa Local Government Area. This activity reinforces the administration’s commitment to inclusive, child-centered education by providing practical learning tools to students.
The distribution effort is being carried out by the Jigawa State Government in collaboration with the Jigawa State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), led by Executive Chairman Professor Haruna Musa. This coordinated approach reflects strong governance, effective leadership, and a shared commitment to education reform.
For the children of Jigawa State, this initiative represents more than just the distribution of books; it is an investment in literacy and a commitment to quality basic education, affirming that no child will be left behind.
Through JigawaUNITE, Governor Namadi reaffirms his administration’s resolve to support schools, empower learners, and build sustainable systems that will yield lasting improvements in educational outcomes across Jigawa State.
