Jigawa Opens Tender for Reconstruction of Hadejia Emir’s Palace

The Jigawa State Government has opened tenders for the reconstruction of the Hadejia Emir’s Palace.

Declaring the bid open, the Chairman, tender ministerial committee and Permanent Secretary for Administration and Finance, Alhaji Abdullahi Sa’idu, highlighted the importance of a fair and impartial selection process.

Represented by Babandi Habu Sule, Director of Administration and Finance for Chieftaincy Affairs, he stressed the necessity of completing the project on time, in accordance with contractual agreements.

The Director General, Due Process and Project Monitoring Bureau, Professor Kasim Muhammad assured the bidders that the selection process would be transparent.

Represented by Engineer Shu’aibu Ali, the DG urged the evaluation committee to comply with the Procurement Act and Due Process laws.

Professor Kasim further advised the technical committee to expedite the evaluation process, given the approaching year end deadline.

Engineer Yunusa Abdullahi, Head of Works at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, announced that three companies are competing for the contract, reaffirming the commitment to a fair selection.

On his part, Sani Ismai’l, representing Civil Society Organizations, pledged to ensure regular supervision of the project to maintain quality standards.

Mallam Muhammad, representing SUB Nigeria Limited, expressed satisfaction with the bid opening process.
