FEDERAL LAWMAKER DONATES 2MILLION TO VICTIMS OF FARMERS -HERDERS CLASH

Honourable,  Dr. Abubakar Hassan Fulata, the Member representing Birniwa, Guri, and Kirikasamma Federal Constituency, has donated ₦2 million to victims affected by recent farmers–herders clashes in his Constituency.
In a statement issued by Muhammad Umar Hadejia, the Information Officer of Guri Local Government Council, said Dr. Fulata allocated ₦1 million each to victims in Yalwan Musari village and to the residents of Abangawa and Gishinawa villages. The donations were made during his condolence visits to these communities in Guri and Kirikasamma Local Government Areas.
Dr. Fulata described the incidents as a tragic event, not only for Guri and Kirikasamma LGAs but for Jigawa State as a whole. He emphasized the importance of personally visiting the affected areas to show solidarity with the victims.
He urged the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to intervene promptly and provide necessary assistance. Additionally, he offered prayers for the deceased, wished for the speedy recovery of the injured, and called for measures to prevent future conflicts.
Reaffirming his commitment to improving social infrastructure, he commended Jigawa State Governor (Dr) Malam Umar Namadi for ongoing road construction projects that will enhance transportation and economic development.
Hon. Fulata also encouraged youths to participate in the ongoing voter registration exercise to fulfill their civic duties during elections.
On behalf of the community, Ward Head Shamsu Ibrahim and Chief Imam Malam Isah expressed gratitude for the lawmaker’s visit and his generous support.
